Purpose / Rationale

Medical professionals regularly confront the risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens in clinical settings. This course aims to enhance competency in compliance with OSHA’s. Bloodborne Pathogens Standard, reduce occupational exposures, and protect both providers and patients. This aligns with the requirement under Rule 64B9-5.003 that CE content “reflect the professional educational needs to meet the health care needs of the consumer.” (Florida Administrative Code)

Learner Objectives

By the end of this 2-hour course, participants will be able to:
